Mexico releases players Pacheco, Torres and Navarro from the 2011 Copa America

MEXICO, June 18, 2011 (AFP) – The players Édgar Pacheco, Fernando Navarro and Erick Torres left the Mexican training center, where the national team is preparing for the Copa America, said the Mexican federation, this Saturday.

“Fernando Navarro and Édgar Pacheco, both Tigres’ players, returned to the club, while the forward Erick Torres, of Guadalajara, will meet the U-20 team, which will compete in the World Cup of the category in Colombia, informed the Mexican Football Federation.

Mexico had been informed that the forward Carlos Vela, Arsenal’s (ENG), is also out of the Copa America because the club did not allow him to participate.

On June 27 the definitive list will be announced to the tournament.
