Paraguay wins Romania without difficulty by 2-0 in a friendly played before Copa America

ASUNCION, June 12, 2010 (AFP) – The Paraguayan national team defeated Romania by 2-0 in the Saturday’s night in a match occurred in the Defensores del Chaco stadium, as a preparation to the 2011 Copa America, that will start on July 1st, in Argentina.
Very soon, in the second minute of the match, Nelson Haedo scored for Paraguay, and Roque Santa Cruz headed to extend the score (29).
The Romanian team, that showed kind of a naive in the first half, presented more aggressive in the second half, thanks to the correct changes done by the coach Stephen Jovan, which let the game more difficult to Paraguay.
The Paraguayan team lost the way with the changes made by Gerardo Martino, who had the objective of test his players to the 2011 Copa America.
The next match of Paraguay, last before the 2011 Copa America, will be on June 23, against Chile, in the Defensores del Chaco stadium. In the following day, Paraguay and Chile will travel to Argentina to play the Copa America.
