NEW YORK, June 8, 2011 (AFP) – National teams from Ecuador and Greece tied on Tuesday by 1-1 in a friendly played at the New York City Feld stadium.
Greece opened the scoring with Alexanders Tziolis, at 15 minutes of the first half, while Ericson Rafael Erazo tied at 13 of the second half for Ecuador, headed by the Colombian Reinaldo Rueda.
This was the last Ecuador’s friendly before the Copa America 2011. The Ecuadorian national team had already been two draws in their last friendlies against Mexico (1-1) and Canada (2-2).
