Paraguay wins by 2 – 0 the Bolivia, in a preparation friendly match to the Copa America

SANTA CRUZ DE LA SIERRA, June 5, 2011 (AFP) – The Paraguayan national football team defeated by 2 – 0 the Bolivian team  in a friendly match to prepare for Copa America, held  on this Saturday, at the stadium Tahuichi Aguileira, Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

The goals has been scored by Lucas Barrios, at 33, and Federico Santander, at 71.

In the line of attack, Roque Santa Cruz, from Blackburn (England) and Lucas Barrios, from Borussia Dortmund (Germany) started the match, the same offensive pair of the last World Cup in the South Africa, in 2010.


The revenge will be next Wednesday, in the Feliciano Caceres Stadium, in Luque, close to the capital Asuncion. The friendly match served as a preparation to both of the teams to the Copa America.
