SANTIAGO, June 20, 2011 (AFP) – Chile won against Estonia 4-0 in a friendly match, this Sunday, in the Monumental Stadium, as preparation for the 2011 Copa America.
‘La Roja’ goals were scored by Matías Fernández (21’), Waldo Ponce (35’) and Humberto Suazo (46’) in the first half, and Aléxis Sánchez (50’) closed the score.
After this match, ‘La Roja’ will prepare for next Thursday, June 23. The team will play another friendly, against Paraguay, an adversary that will be in the Copa America.
As soon as the match against Paraguay ends, Chile’s coach, the Argentinean, Claudio Borghi, will announce the final list of 23 players who will travel to Mendoza, in Argentina, to play in the Copa America.
