WARSAW, June 5, 2011 (AFP) - Argentina, which lost the Wednesday's friendly against Nigeria (4-1), lost again on Sunday against Poland (2-1) in Warsaw, again with the new players tested by Sergio Batista.
The Polish goals were scored by Adrian Mierzejewski, at 25 of the first half and by Pawel Brozek, at 22 of the second half, while the only goal scored by Argentina, which happened while the match was tied, was scored by Marco Ruben, at 2 of second half.
The national team from South America, as in the defeat against the African team, four days before, showed a technical mess, with a squad that had seven changes from when it was thrashed by Nigeria, including the debut of Marco Ruben, Jonathan Cristaldo and Pablo Piatti.
The Argentine coach, who brought such a B team for the friendly, had only two man called up for the Copa America, Pablo Zabaleta and Ezequiel Garay, and is still seeking test players to the World Cup in Brazil in 2014, finishing their tests with a few positive things.
