Peru’s national team will face Senegal in a friendly match before the Copa America 2011

LIMA, June 14, 2011 (AFP) – The Peruvian national team will play against Senegal on June 28 in a preparatory match for the 2011 Copa America, as informed be the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF), on Tuesday.
The match will be at the Alejandro Villanuera Stadium, in Lima, as stated by FPF.
The Peruvian squad started its preparatory trainings last Wednesday with 33 players. Eleven players came from abroad.
The trainings take place in the FPF facilities, Villa Deportiva (Videna).
Since Sergio Markarian is in charge of the team; the Peruvian team won four friendly matches against Parama (1-0), Costa Rica (2-0), Jamaica (2-1) and Canada (2-0), two draws against Ecuador (0-0) and Colombia (1-1), and a loss to Parama (0-1).
