Peru wins Panamá by 1-0

MOQUEGUA, February 8, 2011 (AFP) – The Peruvian National Team beat Panamá, by 1-0, in a friendly match disputed this Tuesday, in Moquega, in a match with 15.000 spectators.
The only goal of the match was scored by the defender Orlando Contretas, at 40 minutes of the first half, in a header, after a corner kick hit by Michael Guevara.
With the victory, the Peruvian took revenge of the defeat suffered to the Panamanians, also by 1-0, in October 2010.
The teams made a discrete match, with the home team changing the tactical formation, looking for the Copa America in Argentina, which will be disputed in June.
