Suarez lauds Batistuta - and Dalglish's Spanish

LIVERPOOL, (AFP) - Liverpool striker Luis Suarez says his never-say-die approach to the game is modelled on former Argentina striker Gabriel Batistuta.
The Uruguay international has won over the Anfield fans with some battling displays since his 22.8 million pounds (27.2 million euros) January deadline day arrival from Ajax.
"Gabriel Batistuta reflects the bread and butter of the striker; what his soul must be," the 24-year-old told FourFourTwo magazine.
"I think I have that never-surrender attitude from him, because he never gave up."
Suarez also says manager Kenny Dalglish has been helping him settle in as he battles to learn English and adapt to life in Merseyside.
"I've already learned a lot from him," added the World Cup star, who revealed that as a schoolboy he would play as Liverpool on his PlayStation.
"The first thing he said to me was 'Hola, bienvenido' (Hello, welcome).
"He still talks to me in Spanish because I don't understand English fully yet. This makes me feel wanted."
